What's This "Spin-Tite Airfoil Technology™"?
All Crimson Talon brand broadheads have airfoils on the rear edge of the blades. When shot, air flows over the airfoils causing the arrow to rotate at a high-rate of speed. This rotation spin-stabilizes the arrow just like a spinning toy top. By spin-stabilizing the arrow using the broadhead, the best possible flight and accuracy is achieved.
What Does "Spin-Tite Airfoil Technology™" Actually Do?
Spin-Tite Airfoil Technology™ spin-stabilizes the arrow to improve an arrows ballistics?the faster the bow, the more the arrow is spin-stabilized. No more being penalized for shooting an ultra-fast bow. This high-speed spin-stabilization minimizes wind-planing leading to very accurate shots.
I Shoot A Super Fast Bow.
Keep in mind bows have gotten faster and faster every year, however, broadhead design has not changed. Flat bladed broadheads cannot defy physics. Airplanes wouldn't fly using flat wings. The same is true of broadheads. They can "fly" true with flat blades. The flat blades cause wind-planing and ultimately poor shots.
Do They Really Fly Like a Mechanical?
Mechanicals were invented out of a necessity for precise flight. And mechanicals do just that, they fly straight. However, they require so much energy to open on impact that penetration is compromised. Each broadhead flies with the precise accuracy of a mechanical due to Spin-Tite Airfoil Technology™ which spin-stabilizes the arrow.
What About Arrow Speeds?
You can expect to gain up to 4-8 feet per second downrange. Because of their aerodynamic design, the Crimson Talon™ brand broadheads are affected less downrange by aerodynamic drag. Unlike other broadheads, the Crimson Talon™ brand broadheads minimize drag and therefore faster arrow speeds are achieved. Additionally, with faster arrow speeds you now enjoy a flatter shooting bow at the same draw-weight you are currently shooting. This means that judging distances is no longer as critical. In some cases, some hunters may be able to eliminate one or more pins.
What Is This Spiral Wound Channel?
Skin has surface tension. The entry wounds that flat-bladed broadheads inflict with blades and bleeders set at 90-degree angles produce wounds that close and clot rapidly. In contrast, the patent-pending 59.8° Offset Kore-Kut blades make incisions at 59.8° which will not close or clot because the wound blows open. The airfoils on the blades act like a drywall screw-actually screwing through the target making a round hole that closely resembles a muzzle loader sabot wound. This is in direct comparison to the thin flat slices traditional broadhead designs produce.

I do not shoot very much draw weight. Will this affect the opening action of the Tri-Van Vanishing Rest?
No. The Tri-Van Vanishing Rest?s opening action is not dependant on draw weight. It operates on the action of the bow?s down cable.
How does the Tri-Van Vanishing Rest work in inclement weather conditions?
The Tri-Van is designs to perform in all weather conditions. If you encounter freezing rain, we recommend you cycle the rest a few times to ensure proper performance.
Is the timing chord on the Tri-Van Vanishing Rest replaceable?
